I actually really, really like this lipstick, even if there are some problems overall.
-Just like the name suggest, it’s a lovely coral, a bright pinky/orange. It pulls very pink, but still has an orange sheen to it, which works for me.
-The packaging is cute, although the shiny tube got so many fingerprints and scuffs from being in my purse, it went from looking splendid to scrubby in a couple hours flat.
-The color glides right on, it honestly felt like applying chapstick – it was that moist and creamy. Because of this, I didn’t have anything on underneath or on top; the product worked well on its own. It lasted about 3 1/2 hours, which isn’t much, but I don’t mind reapplying, especially when it’s such a creamy, moisturizing formula. It’s slightly sheer, kind of that “your lips but better” look. I guess it’s “your lips but really coral-tinted.” It’s a totally lovely summer shade, which makes me sad that I purchased this at the beginning of fall, but there’s always next year. There’s also no offensive odor or taste, whatsoever.
-Here are some swatch shots (I didn’t use the flash at all, I was rocking out the sunny day) for your viewing pleasure:
